That is not an answer to my question. The pic shows your "solution". :).
I want to change the icon in the substitution menu, for example grey line to green line.

Unfortunately not.

We have no possibility to change this in the substitution list.

The solution is that there is no solution :D.
Is there a way that autodesk make this possible to change the symbol for lines via "GraphicalStyleName"?

Hello

Sorry for my English, which I don't speak and whose post has been translated with google Translator

Customization of the P&ID symbol substitution palette is possible.

Dear @DVaquand ,

Thank you for the perfect hack for the addition of the SubstitutionPalettes.xml.

Yes thats the solution i worked with, thx for sharing that with the rest. The Point is, that this is very user unfriendly and when you change something in the project properties the SubstitutionPalettes.xml sometimes gets overwrite :/.

btw. you can also add "dummysymbols" in the projSymbolStyle.dwg, then copy the "class link" in the SubstitutionPalettes.xml, but i think autodesk should solve this better

This is exactly what I have been looking for!

I followed the links and was able to print out the notes, but not able to have them translated into English (PDF). The video is also in French... does anyone know if this is available in English? and where it can be found?

Thank You!

Barbara
