Hi,

The Catalog Editor will default to using the units of nominal diameter in which the components were originally created.  So, for example, components in the ASME catalog will default to imperial units since they are defined in inches.

You can, however, override the units from the Catalog menu:

Hi Andy,

I need a spec using ASME(metric) and AS(imperial) standards catalog, Can I use both in a single spec? Can I use the spec in either metric or imperial project?

Thanks

Hi Ray,

You can mix and match fittings from as many different specs (imperial and metric) as you need in the same project.

Similarly, you can combine imperial and metric fittings within the same spec - it just makes the connection settings and fasteners fun to set up.

Regards,

Andy

Thank you for your reply.

Can you please share how to setup connections and fastener?
