Good mooring

Please can someone tell me if there is a way to export plant drawings to IFC
Exporting to DWG and using MEP will lose all IFC attributes

Thank you

there is no IFC import or export in Plant 3D
There is also no direct way Plant 3D DWG and DWG MEP intelligently connect. Plant 3D and MEP have 2 different data administrations.

Not that I'm aware of.  While IFC is prevalent in the BIM world, process piping has been using PCF to transmit piping information for forever.  Granted, it doesn't do anything *other* than piping but other disciplines have had similar formats such as CIS/2.  So there isn't a whole lot of drive to adopt yet another format.

In theory this is ground ISO 15926 would handle, but so far Bentley is the only one who has done anything with it for 3D, which doesn't make it as "universal" as the proponents would suggest.  There has been a little more uptake on the P&ID side but not much.
