Pipe alignment

I have two pipes that I can not get the T and Elbow to align.  ALl it has to do is rotate the fittings to the correct angle and it will not do it.  It says that it cannot find any paths.  Why will it not do this simple task?

What is 'LOT' in whatever language that is?  What command do I use?

Sorry was my German version.
B = P for Plane
LOT = PER for Perpendicular

This got me there.  I still had to put the T in half way through my lateral and then move it in line with the vertical because It did not put the T in automatically.  But at least this got me to the point of where the lateral line was running directly to the vertical.  Thanks.
