Palette symbols appear blank

Dear colleagues,

I have moved to a new computer and installed a new Plant3D version (2020).

I have inserted the profiles path in the options menu to the my customised symbol palette.

All symbols are correctly listed in the palette and I can use them without errors, but they are all blank in the palette (see attached image).

Has any of you experienced this or may know the cause?

Thank you very much,

Check this location is set correctly:

C:\Users\cdowning\AppData\Roaming\Autodesk\Autodesk AutoCAD Plant 3D 2020\R23.1\enu\Support\ToolPalette\Palettes\Images

It might be worth comparing it with the old version to compare the files, for example, if you were using 2018 check:

C:\Users\cdowning\AppData\Roaming\Autodesk\Autodesk AutoCAD Plant 3D 2018\R21.1\enu\Support\ToolPalette\Palettes\Images

Hi Chris,

The location was correct. It is now fixed. For some reason (?) most of the symbols images were not copied to the folder:

\Plant 3D\ProjectX\ToolPalette\Palettes\Images when I copied the custom tool palette.

I copied the missing images to the folder and it worked.

Thank you for the support Chris,

Best regards

Hi Guys,

Where exactly did you find the missing image files?  I am having the same issue however the "Symbol Images" aren't in my Tool Palette location and neither in the default Toll palette location either.

Thanks in advance for the guidance.

Hi Mitchell,

The missing images were in the original tool palette folder. If yours have disappeared you may need to recover the folder itself...
