I want to know how to force vertical gap between two lines with same priority. It now depends on which line I draw first. The drawing standard requires to gap a line vertical.

1. Snap and grid do not affect line breaking and placing a gap.

2. ISO 10628-1 standard requires to break vertical lines of same weight.

That is an image of the standard we are using. The question is how to force vertical gaps.

In the project setup you can only set if you want a gap or a loop. As seen on the image attached the gap is not always performed correct. If you draw a rectangle and cross the first line the gap is placed horizontally. Could be a bug in the software perhaps.

Hello @H2O__Water

Indeed, depending on the direction in which the loop is created, the cut is done horizontally and not vertically.
By changing the direction of the fluid, we can restore the situation.
Without changing the direction of the fluid, we can solve the problem by creating a cut before the lines cross.

== French ==

@H2O__Water ,

could be a mistake but I don't know of any working method that would have to be drawn like this in a P&ID.
Please report to Autodesk Support
