I Have changed the colum/Rom height/Widths in the table editor but when i sect update BOM the table reverts back to an ugly default size.

How do i make the dimensions of my BOM table stick?

Delete the table in the ortho. Open the ortho.dwt file you modified and
copy to clipboard and paste into drawing.

Run the BOM command, not update. This should provide you with a new BOM
with table changes.

I copied the table from the template, pasted into drawing, create bill of materials, selected view.

Thats not working for me, the table columns change size still?

Was hoping for a simple answer? cant find whats driving the table size

I've had that exact problem before. Try purging after you delete the bom
table save the ortho. Then paste the newly modified table from the
ortho.dwt. Hope it works.

Also created a new drawing with the BOM table setup how i would like it in the template.

When i first generate BOM it works as i would like it but then if i ever need to update it, the size changes still

That's correct, a bug they haven't yet worked out. My work around was to
delete the BOM table, paste the new one, then choose create BOM, not update.
