OFF Page connector - the other side

If you have 2 pipes connected to eachother by off page connectors, is it so that when you change on side diamater or material, the other side supposed to change with it? Or does just a yellow remark appear that say they are not the same anymore?

Dear @johan.degreef ,

as long as you have not connected any components in your PuIDs it works with the direct update, if components are connected you get the yellow triangle to show that something has changed in the line and you can update this via the OPC dialog.

They used to automatically update like you'd expect, maybe version 2014 they stopped.  Now you do have to manually update the connected line every time.  This is good and bad, it's double the effort, but it's also a way to not forget to rev cloud an item when updating.  You can also do a cross check by having the opc text internally point to the opposite pages pipeline segment data e.g. #(=whatever.stuffandthings) and now whatever property you pick as the data for the opc text will be from the other pages pipeline segment.  We also do invisible attributes in the opc block like line size and some others, make them visible for a check, turn them back off when plotting for issuance.
