notes removed from Iso template every time the template is updated

Every time we do an ISO setup titleblock, the notes are deleted from the template.

Does anyone know what causes this.

My first solution is to just make them part of the "Titleblock" itself.

but would be interested in knowing why this happens.

THese are standard notes on all our Isos

where have you positioned your notes?
1. under Iso.dwt

2. or under Title Block Attributes (this has always worked for me)

Putting it in the titleblock block is where i think is should be.

do you know why it removes it from the dwt if it is not part of the TB

No, I don't know the exact reason for the disappearance of information from Iso.dwt.

That has happened to me before — I accidentally used the Purge command, and it deleted the block. Even after recreating it and adding all the information again, it kept deleting the object I needed — in my case, it was notes as well.
The solution was to copy it from another project or from a iso template file (.dwt), and then reconfigure whatever was necessary.

I have moved the notes into the Titleblock block. 

the issue of the notes disapearing happens every time we modify the titleblock
