No connection defined for end types FL and SW in the config file

What causes this error, it came out of nowhere, also what means FL and SW ? It happens when I try to place a flange on a pipe, before the program was doing it automatically now this error comes up.

Error is because of the pipe length, which is not enough to create a mating flange(Auto-flange connection). Try extending the length of the pipe and  re insert the flange.

Thank you for the answer but the pipe has a considerable length, it's more than 1 meter.
