Mixed auto Flange Compount joint error

Hi. I try to connect a FF Loose Plate flange(which comes with a collar) with a RF SO Flange (without collar) but i get the following error. Can anyone advise me what setup i should make?

Hi,

The default "Flanged joint" simple joint connection looks for matching nominal diameter, pressure class and facing values.

You are trying to match FF to RF.

The "Auto flange joint" isn't actually causing the error, it doesn't check the facing values, but the Flanged joint does.

Hope this helps.

Regards,

Andy

Hi Andy, thank yyou for you reply. My Flanged joint simple connection is set to require only the same nominal diameter and pressure class, so i don't think this is the issue.

Hi,

I assume that you've removed the Facing from the spec filter for the bolt set and gasket, also?

Oops.No.i did not. I just modified that but it still doens.t seem to work.

At first i get an error that parts cannot connect

sstrat_0-1654519049178.png

Then it adds the SO flange but connects it to another SO automatically added

If i were to delete one:

The connection would look like the desired one, but when i try to route a pipe (the one on the left) i get another error message.

i would want my final connection to be like this:

Many thanks for the advice.

Many many thanks Andy!! I've been struggling with this issue for days. It seems this was the problem. The other issues was caused by the SO/pl connection. I had to allow that conn to be imperial.
