Local Data Cache Purger

When we run the PnPLocalDataCachePurger.exe everything runs fine but it seems to overwrite our piping specs with an older version from another folder. What would be the cause of this and how would we go about fixing it?

what type of project storage do you have?
Local
Network data server
ACC

it is a network data server

then it is not possible to delete or replace pipe specs copied into a project with the PnPLocalDataCachePurger.exe.
