Isometric mapping Pipe Spec as an Attribute

i have been looking and googling for an answer but struggling to find an answer.

We want to have an attribute in the isometric titleblock for the Spec of the pipe. we will only have 1 spec of pipe on the iso at any one time. I can do this if i use the Nominal Spec attribute and property in Data Manager via a manual entry (or Excel upload). There must be a way to have it read the spec name as given when created in SPEC editor IE "George fisher PVC". it appears in various fields already, i just can see how/where i map them from.

the only way i have found online so far needs manual input

it seems that you can add it to the BOM automatically.

The reason it requires manual input is that the Iso titleblock attributes can only be mapped to LineGroup properties - not part properties. In this case it's the LineGroup nominal spec which must be entered manually - unless you use an LDT or do something fancy like import it to the model from a line list.

The BOM pulls properties from the parts so that's a whole different deal.
