Is it possible to add a point-of-support to a custom model?

Hey, I wanted to create a custom support model, but can't find a way to add a point of support, which would show an elevation grip. Like if you have some autocad model, for example a beam clamp hanger, it's possible to change the elevation (lenght) in the 3D. Is there a way that works on custom block?

this function is only available in Original Content for Supports or Custom Python scripts.
Not on block-based supports
