Insert weld socket

Hi,

I'm trying to insert a weld socket to a pipe. For instruments like pressure gauges and temperature, we often drill a whole in the pipe and weld on a threaded socket. (1" of 1/2")

Is this possible to do in Plant 3D?

The spec I'm using is 16HS01.

yes, it is easy to create a weld-on socket as an OLET in the catalog and assign it to the pipe spec.

Hi, thanks for your answer. However, I'm trying to make a Olet, but it always gets the same size as the pipe it is inserted to.

please create an outlet for each nominal width, otherwise it will not work automatically.
