@Anonymous adding something like a coiled electrical cable to an AutoCAD Plant 3D model is normally part of the piping aspect of the drawings. That being said I have seen other users add additional elements to their drawings. These additional elements are normally AutoCAD 3D solids, as 3D solids fit into the workflow of AutoCAD Plant 3D drawings.
However, depending on the size of the model drawings you need to watch the detail of the drawings too. If you make them too detailed this might affect the performance of the drawings.
