How to clip Plant 3D view for modeling?

I want to model Piping in Plant 3D in elevation view. But when I go to side view, I see all the equipment and pipes. How can I clip the area I want to work in and model piping in elevation view?

Don't clip, but use the HIDEOBJECTS/ISOLATEOBJECTS commands and the UNHIDEOBJECTS command to make items visible again.

You can also put the layer of those items on/off

Or if you're using a good xref structure, you can unload the relevant xref.
