how to add scripted components using catalogue builder

Hello Team, 

             I'm a beginner in catalogue builder, can anyone guide me to learn catalogue builder using scripting. I'm getting stuck with the below error every time.

Honestly, we don't use the catalog builder, regular catalog editor does everything we need.

Anyway, to add custom python components to a catalog:

It should now according to new release log. Not found much info on how it works so far.
