Force tagging

If you tag a valve and the number is already in use, you get an error and can not tag the valve with that number.

Is it possible to force the tag to that valve and get the error (or question mark) on the valve that had this number before? We do get corrected P&ID's back from project engineers with completely other tagging, and it is a pain to re-tag all valves.

I don't know if force tagging is possible, but I think I have a workaround for your issue.

I would take out the excel file from the data manager, change all the tags in excel and then re-import the excel file. The tags will change automaticly in your drawing.
