Editing line spacing in a table cell

Hi,

When you create multitext you are able to adjust the line spacing say from 1 to 1.5 or 2.

Multitext line spacing.jpg

If I create a table and create multitext in the cells the Line Spacing is greyed out and I cannot edit this.

Is it possible that I can change the line spacing for multitext in the table cells?  Is it a setting somewhere?  I need it to be 1.5.

Hi Dean,

Thank you for that.  The text being generated is being automatically created through AutoCAD PLant 3D iso's.  So it will not be user input which I see this being useful.

So do you know if there is a way to get the line spacing active as in the original post.  Not having to type in that "code".

Hi @Aldred,

Thank you for posting your question.

The technical solution that @pendean linked to is the only way I know of to accomplish what you're trying to do in core AutoCAD. Are you working directly in Plant 3D though?

If you are, I can move this topic over to the Plant 3D forum for you, where other Plant 3D users might be able to tell you whether or not there's a way around this within Plant 3D.

Hi,

Yes.  I am working directly in AutoCAD Plant 3D.

Hi @Aldred,

Thank you for confirming that. I've moved your topic to the AutoCAD Plant 3D forum, where other Plant 3D users will see it and be able to provide some guidance as to whether or not it is possible to edit the line spacing in a table in Plant 3D as you've described.

This AKN article may help: How to adjust the line spacing in the table cell with the Autodesk AutoCAD

https://knowledge.autodesk.com/support/autocad/troubleshooting/caas/sfdcarticles/sfdcarticles/How-to...

Additionally, this would be a good suggestion for the Plant 3D Ideastation: more formatting control of tables.
