Custom support connections

Hello colleagues,

this is from Plant's help how to create custom supports.

Maybe I do not understand english enough.

What point 5 means?

Is there snap to connections?

Using end and nearest I can define connecting point on piping segment, but after clicking piping segment with end point selected, Plant continue to asking me for a point or piping segment. Keyboard input 0,0,0 does not work also.

Clicking piping segment I got connections somewhere outside of the support.

Any advice welcome.

thanks so much for your reply and video.

My installation of Plant acting absolutely differently not only on this issue (btw on every pc in the office Plant acting differently).

I have done absolutely same as you, even increase isolines to 16 just Plant to accept some point and stop loosing my time, but I see what I have seen for the past 4 days ...

... and Plant does not accept the input and continue to ask for insertion point:

May I please to convert the attched AutoCAD block to support, just not to follow fate of previous guys tried to work with Plant.

Meanwhile I was trying and trying and trying and trying ...

I also succeed to create connection (in 2d view, wireframe mode, nearest point), well 1mm displaced but it works.
