Custom script not working in Plant 3d

Hello everyone,

I'm trying to create my own plant 3d custom parts using python, and I stumbled upon this blog post

https://adndevblog.typepad.com/autocad/2015/06/custom-python-scripts-for-autocad-plant-3d-part-3.htm...

I tried copying the script included in the post and the test worked using this command

PLANTREGISTERCUSTOMSCRIPTS
(command "arx" "l" "Pnp3dacpadapter")
(testacpscript "EXPJOINT1")

I was also able to take snapshots of the expansion joint, added it to a catalog, and then added it to my spec. The custom part is present in the spec editor

 spec editor expjoint1.jpg

But it's not present inside Plant3d

spec editor expjoint1 2.jpg        spec editor expjoint1 3.jpg

Do you think the problems with the script?

I've saved the C:\AutoCAD Plant 3D 2020 Content\CPak Common\CustomScripts along with other custom parts.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I'm stumped. I did the steps (and repeated it twice over) on the blog post by David Wolfe by I still can't figure why I can't make the custom script work on Plant 3d.

I can add the custom script when I use the Add Custom Part command in the tool palette. But it's not good enough.
