Does anyone know why the New Equipment Saddle option is not working correctly on exchangers?

There appears to be a limit on the cylinder diameter that the saddle can be used upon.

See screen shot showing the issue.

Hi @Anonymous,

unfortunately, I can not reproduce your error with Plant 3D 2017.1.1

Thanks Hartmut for the prompt reply.

I think my saddles are not in the correct position in the shape list.

Hartmut,

Yes, it appears that the position of the saddles in the shape list does affect shape geometry.

Looks like the saddle needs to be placed in the list right after the cylinder they are located on.

Is it possible to mirror the saddles to the top of the exchanger for double stacked exchangers?exchangerpic.PNG

Dear @Eric.ewen ,

No, unfortunately not!
We have no possibility to turn the saddles around the longitudinal axis.

You must add these required saddles as user-defined 3D parts.
