Branch table options in Model

Hi all.

I built a spec with the following branch table:

Capture1.JPG

(consider one variant of resizing - from 2" to 1/2").

I have 4 options:

1. Tee reducing SW

2. Tee reducing THRD

3. Sockolet

4. Pipe (Stub-In)

By default I got Tee reducing.

But I want to change the connection option (click on blue triangle). And... I not see sockolet and stub-in

If I change priority (for example, for Sockolet = 1), I see ONLY sockolets:

But I want to see all possible connection options: Tee SW, Tee THRD, Sockolet and Pipe.

How can i do this?

Dear @DmitryKhot,

Click on More sizes (x1/2")

Dear @DmitryKhot,

if you have inserted a Tee, only the Tee is displayed using the Substitute function.
This has nothing to do with the branch table.
I think the function you would like is not in Plant 3D

I understand that these questions are not for you, but ... 🙂

1. Why is this option available, for example, if I want to change an Elbow

Capture5.JPG

You can see 3 options for Elbow - LR, 3R, SR

2. What is the meaning of the Branch table and setting priorities for selecting options, if they are still not available...

Dear @DmitryKhot,

please make a poste on the IdeaStation.
This part in the program code does not exist.

This is because we are talking about two different functions - Branch table and part substitution.

The branch table refers to what connections can be made. They do not necessarily define what parts can be interchanged or substituted with respect only to size of that given class.

Part insertion and substitution is reliant on class definitions. So an OLET is not a TEE and visa-versa.

A good point here is that a bend and Elbow fit under the same class or subclass and also are not impacted by branch tables. Same will hold true for valves etc.

I do agree that this is a good idea for the IdeaStation as @h_eger pointed out.
