BOM reports - would like to create a BOM report for certain lines in a project

I am verturing into some more uncharted territory for myself.

I have created a project with several existing pipe lines along with about 7 new lines.

I have recently stumbled onto the reports section of AutoPlant 3D and thought I could easily create a report of BOM of just new pipe.

I also thought if I could export all the data to a excel spreadsheet then sort it some how to only show the material I am interested in.

I am not having much luck.

I am using AutoPlant 3D 2016 and AutoPlant 3D report creator 2016.

Thanks,

Steve

copy the file "Steve.rcf" to "C:\ProgramData\Autodesk\Autodesk AutoCAD Plant 3D 2016\R20.1\enu\ReportCreator\ReportFiles"

Open the ReportCreator

1. select your Project

2. click on Settings

3. Location for ReportCreator Templates

A while back you fixed me up with a report for me to do a MTO for my project...I have played around with it a little and can't get it to put the quantity in.

I am trying to get these

Line #1

Size - Spec - Quantity - Short Description

Line #2

etc...

I haven't figured out how to add a table cell or copy a table cell?

Thanks,

Steve

Hello @h_eger

I tried your report but my problem is how to change it to use imperial dimensions. It currently shows length of pipe in meters but I need it in feet and inches.

Thank you.
