Bend scale - isometric

Hi,

Is it possible to create a dynamic Isokey elbow that scales like straight pipes on isometric drawings? I have a pipeline modeled as a pulled pipe bend, which consists entirely of elbows containing straight segments L1 and L2. On the isometric drawing, only elbow symbols are generated, but they do not scale to the sheet size. As a result, there are a lot of symbols clustered in the center of the page, making them unreadable.

I don't think that's possible to do it dynamically.

You could make a spool iso style and change the symbol and annotation scale for that style only. When you have spools existing only of symbols with no pipe you can then use that specific style.

In practice it will have to be the fitting to fitting theme. You could just forgo making a separate style and adjusting only the fitting to fitting scale of your existing style, but in some case where you have valves for example you might end up with a single iso that has both small and large symbols for the same component.

In theory you can make a separate theme that is like the fitting to fitting theme but only works with elbows/bends. But I have never done this in practice, you would need to copy lots of code from the isoconfig.xml and have to create new filters and references directly in the isoconfig.xml. And even then I'm not 100% sure the new theme will correctly be recognized by the software. If you have some time you can test that out.
