AutoCAD Plant 3D 2019 - Connect flange to pipe quadrant

In Plant 3D, is there a way to connect a flange on a pipe quadrant. We have a client that got this kind of connection in his project. We know we can connect a pipe to a pipe quadrant, but we can't get to connect a flange.

We are working with Plant 3D 2019

Product version: M046.1003.r3 Autodesk AutoCAD Plant 3D 2019.1 Update

Built on: P.162.0.0 AutoCAD 2019.1.2

See attached a picture and the file we are trying to get it done.

Thank you

Normally you would use a flangeolet for that type of connection. Have you tried putting a short stub-in connection to attach the flange to?

In fact I'm realizing that the client is using a long weld neck flange for this connection and there seams to be no long weld neck in catalogues. I suppose I should create a custom part.

If we go with a small segment of pipe stub-in, is there a way to set the segment to not appear in the cut list and bom ?

Flangeolets are available in the custom parts so that is what I would use. You could add it the catalog and specs if you will use these parts regularly.

Could you please point me exactly where are these Flangeolets. I'm trying to find them but looks like I'm not looking at the right place.

If you look under Olets in the shape browser there is a Sweepolet with a flange connection which should work for you.
