When I open my plant 3d 2014, it's opening in with Autocad 2014 icons, the red ones. Is this normal? Furthermore, I can't open any Plant 3D files created from 2014 on an earlier version, even after I have saved it back from the options>tools> save functions. Is there something else I'm missing or is there a patch to fix this problem?
You can't open Plant 3D files on earlier Versions. Once you have migrated or created the project on the latest version you can't go backwards, only forwards.
Correct. You can always export the file out to dumb it down and work on it in abother version but will will loose all the database information and it will just be solids.
