Hello everyone,
I did search the forum and there was some older posts on this subject, but thought I would try to find out some more current information. We are in the planning stages of a large project that we are going to use Plant 3D 2024. We are not using the P&ID package, just 3D. We are looking for ideas on the best way to model electrical to integrate with Plant 3D. We originally was going to use AutoPLANT Raceways, but AutoPLANT is retired at the end of 2024. So now we are looking for something else. We did come across this Python script in the Autodesk store, but not sure if this would be the correct approach. We would probably need more than just cable trays.

I have read on here on others using Revit or AutoCAD Electric for this. We are also going to integrate this with Autodesk Construction Cloud. We are looking for the best electrical package to use with Plant 3D. Does anyone have any suggestions on this?
On a side note, I don't understand why Autodesk has not put an electrical package in Plant 3D. Doesn't make sense to me.
Thank you,
