2016 ERROR - Unable to create isometric

ERROR - Unable to create isometric before reaching Maximum Iso Creation Time Cutoff 00:30:00

In Plant 2016, does anyone know how to adjust this time limmit?

Rod, the time limit is 30 minutes. If it hasn't made an iso by then, it's probably in a loop or otherwise never going to succeed.

I can't recommend changing this value but if you look in

C:\Program Files\Autodesk\AutoCAD 2016\PLNT3D for a pnpiso.exe.config (it's actually an xml file)

you can probably find and change the timeout value. Probably. I haven't tested this and it's likely to just run as long as you let it without ever producing a valid iso.

Why was this marked as resolved? There is no solution posted here. Basically this is an isometric timeout error for seemingly no reason, and Autodesk has no idea how to resolve it.

This did take care of the issue on my end.  I just modified the timeout in the PnPIso.exe.config file from 15 to 30 minutes and it ran the isos, when it was timing out before.  Thanks Peter.
