Snap to Grid Issues

I am attempting to setup a simple grid and snap drawing for my students that is easily done in AutoCAD (Desktop version), but in the Web app, I can not for the life of me snap to the grid. I have changed the grid spacing, tried clicking on the snap icon after typing in GRID in the command line. I am not getting any snapping feature to the grid at all.

Is there something i need to do to snap to the grid? For example have a .5 in grid, and draw a perfect square that is 5 grid spaces long, only by clicking on the snap locations.

There is no answer (solution) here. How do you turn the Snap feature on? I only see discussion of the Osnap.

The option is not available. You have to use coordinate entry methods in the Web app.

You can send them a file from the desktop version where you have the gridsnap on. In the web app it should work. I did it on accident and can't turn it off for that file!

Any news on when it will be possible to turn off Grid Snap in Web app? Makes it impossible to work with files that were saved with snap on.

If you did not notice a change there is none implemented to date: and Autodesk does not pre-announce when new specific abilities are scheduled for release, so no point asking.

Hi there- this may be a shot in the dark (and no help at all...but): would the SNAPGRIDLEGACY command help with this issue? (Note: I do not use the web app version...)
