Of my 60 or so students, most on chrome books, a majority can log in and draw using the web app. I have around 5 students that the software will just not open for them. One student always gets the sign in servers unavailable, another gets that there is a problem accessing your autodesk account and can't open the web app, another can get into the web app but when they open a new drawing it says they can not open the attached file.
All are running this on 64bit chrome books and are the same chrome books as most of my other students.
thanks for any help you can provide

I am currently teaching online students. They are having trouble with the resolution of the drawing change when they zoom in and out (a circle will turn to a hexagon shape) Usually, I teach them to use viewres in the command line, but it doesn't work in web app. Is there a fix for this I am not seeing beside to close and reopen the drawing? Thanks in advance!

You know fusion already somehow works online. Instead of putting all this effort into web CAD what if you concentrated the efforts into just making Fusion work from a browser? I don't want to say the O word but that's all Onshape does. I did not like Onshape after wasting $1600 for a year. I am one of those wanting to use Fusion on Linux as you can see in that forum chat so my main thing is not having to be on the miserable Win10 thing that's always forcing updates and restarts on me when I have many programs open and 3 browsers running with a full screen of tabs open on each. I'm not any kind of developer but if Fusion is running online is that not in a browser? Also if it is hopefully it's not doing the IE thing like some outdated programs open up in. Quickbooks used to do that.

Hi everyone! Do anybody know is why web autocad are so slow and has so much stutters?
I tried to work with it on a laptop with a good hardware (i7, gtx780m, 24gb RAM) and a brand new win10, and I've find that it's just absolutely impossible to do any serious work at it, even in a little, clean file. Desctop version that installed on my other old and weak laptop is just running better than the web version now. My internet connection and speed is good, so I didn't think that the problem is on my side.

Not able to access it currently. I get this error at web.autocad.com
Looks like certificate expired:

Unfortunately, the spatial colors can't be customized. AutoCAD Web doesn't have a control to disable dynamic input on the screen. We are trying to keep the system as simple as possible.
Can you say more about what you don't like about dynamic input? We currently do not support wide font sets or enable text format editing. What font are you using, which format, SHX or TrueType?

Is there any plans to roll out educational licencing to the web version of AutoCAD so that if I have an educational licence to the desktop version it automatically carries over to the web version?

Are there any thoughts of allowing us to create and modify dimstyles with autocad web? I paid for a year subscription because autocad web meets most of my needs and for the most part I cannot afford to pay for premium desktop cad subscriptions. Please add that feature in the future.

Would want to use the block editor, via the LSP toolbar in the $10 a month tier.

I think this would be incredibly useful, especially as a way to learn the process without having to commit to the full version of the software.

I have a couple of queries/suggestions. Apologies if they've been brought up elsewhere.
I use the app on an android Samsung tablet and it is generally pretty good.
However, why, when i am entering a value, does it not default to a numeric interface? For certain procedures, it does this. But for general use, it does not.
Secondly, when entering text, it insists every time that I confirm the angle of the text.
It is defaulted to 0. Nearly every time, I want the text angle to be 0. Why, then, do I need to type 0 every time I want to enter text? Why not just tap OK and continue, with the writing the text, with the option to edit preferences elsewhere?
Thirdly, having the select button and the erase button in the same place, but toggling the two depending on process isn't the best idea. It is way too easy to delete something you don't want deleted.
Could erase be moved?
