Dashed lines

Does the free trial version of AutoCad on the web allow linetype of Dashed lines? I've gone into Support files > Line Types and it says folder is empty. I can only Upload files types but when I try Googling Dashed Lines to download I can't find anything.

Core desktop AutoCAD linetypes are built in: that includes DASHED.

Perhaps you just need help setting up the correct LTSCALE setting (anywhere from 1/256 to 256)? Remember to use REGENALL command after you change settings.

Hi

Thanks. But this is the Web version, not the desktop.

I've since downloaded the Desktop trial version and it has Dashed lines
there.

If the web version doesn't give access to them then they should make it
clear. Nothing in the help or on the web and impossible to ask their
support.

Thanks for your input.

That's what I wrote "...Core desktop AutoCAD linetypes are built in..."

How are you trying to use them? From where?

Thanks for your input. https://web.autocad.com/ does not appear to have the linetypes,

I'm getting by using the trial desktop. I'm a novice on Autocad, so please assume I know nothing with your instructions and I'll do my best.

@stevenbyde You'll have to add them then if your open DWG file contains none at all, use this button

You need the ACAD.LIN file from your Desktop AutoCAD (or find one on the web).

My 2cents worth - AutoCADWEB is considered an 'adjacent seat' software by Autodesk from what I an tell so far, it's also hobbled when it comes to more than just basic drafting tools and abilities: you ought to have the desktop version and use this in a pinch when you are not at your primary PC/Laptop for whatever reason.  If you are that new to everything AutoCAD, I suggest you focus on mastering the desktop AutoCAD variant to learn, you'll find this variant easier to figure out afterwards.
