GPS FUNCTION
Please please please put the GPS functionality back into Autocad mobile.
Why was it ever removed?
The product was massively downgraded with no warning or consultation with paying customers. I now have expensive hardware which is utterly useless as there are currently no other options on the market that provide the same function.
Unfortunately, that is a risk we all take with any cloud based applications. The vendor is free to make modifications without notice or warning. Is it possible that it wasn't removed, but only relocated inside the app?
check out the announcement late 2018 (at some big hoopla Apple event) about moving away from the 'purchased' original code to fully integrating with actual pure "AutoCAD" code for the mobile-app as the basis for the update.
The feature is being rebuilt I suspect, it will show up when it shows up, if they still plan on it of course.
By the way, that announcement made a lot of folks think that desktop AutoCAD was suddenly available on an iPAD, which was never the intent.
