My question is this: when I click on my screen I am unable to set dimensions..? Is this a new software issue, or a possible problem with my iPad Pro. I’m not getting a dialog box to set dimensions.
Okay, my problem has been solved, and the solution, simple as it is, may work for you, too.
My problem was that after a recent upgrade, most of the tools in AutoCAD Mobile disappeared.
Turns out that there is a Beta version of AutoCAD Enhanced out there, and the Beta doesn't have all tools enabled yet. However, something glitched in my recent upgrade; Acad was stuck in Beta mode, but the big, obvious toolbar at the top of the app that lets you turn Beta mode on or off was not showing up, so I had no idea that I was in Beta mode.
Solution was to completely uninstall the app from the iPad and reinstall from scratch. Once it reinstalled, the toolbar that let me switch Beta mode off appeared, and when I turned off Beta mode, all of the tools showed back up and worked they way they have in previous versions.
Give that a try, and hopefully your dimensioning options will re-appear.
Hi,
I believe that I’m facing a similar issue, here..
I used to work on this app a year ago, and was very simple to use back then..I’ve recently installed the app on my iPad Pro 2019. When I try to draw, for example, a rectangle.. I would choose the first point then the second point, then adjust the two dimensions boxes. The problem is that the boxes disappear the moment I choose the second point.. this applies for the lines as well..
also, I noticed that the smart draw feature is not available anymore !!
any solution for this?
I went back to Apple Store, and they felt it was a “software issue” with the Auto-CAD app. Unacceptable when you’re paying extra for it, and using the AutoCAD software on your computer. NOT GOOD !
Hello @Anonymous
did the post by @WillGarmer_JMT helped you and answered your question - did you try the uninstall and new installation?

Thank you very much for the decision, and I was already hesitant to buy an iPad Pro as an additional device for work.
