How to move an object without zero point

Anonymous
Not applicable

i would like to move an object. I’m using the move command. I select the object and select a corner of the closed polyline. The object moves over the drawing, but it somehow always moves from the zero point of the y and x reference lines. How do I disable or solve this? I’m working strictly on iPad.

I would like to upload a screenshot, but also not possible on iPad….

Hi @Anonymous 🙂

Thank you for your inquiry.

Using move command in AutoCAD or AutoCAD mobile requires defining a base point.  If you don't want to use the zero point just select a point from your object as base point and continue.

Regarding your question about uplading screenshot, you can use XERF command to attach an Image to your drawing.
