How to free sketching with the smart pen?

Hello, I have the pro plan, and I am wondering how I can do free hand sketching with the smart pen and it not try to straigthen it out for me? Basically I want to draw completely freely and it not try to correct it for me by making lines straight, etc.

There is no freehand drafting in the App: you need to find another app to do that with.

Hi @Anonymous,

Thanks for the feedback,

Actually, you do have a free sketching tool. Please check out the Mark Up tool (Located in the Mark Up toolbar). See attachment.

Best Regards,

Does that behave differently on an iPadPro with the Pencil? I don't have that device and that icon "fixes" my sketched items to be straight lines and perfect circles but not freehand freeflow as the OP asked (or I assume asked to draw freehand).

On my IPhone, didn't have another device at time to check, the suggested item by the user does allow me to free sketch with no "autocorrecting" lines.

Yes, I reached for the quick draw tool, not the freehand tool: both are pencil shaped that look alike except for a small squiggle.

Good to know now.

I bought the premium so that I could use it for freehand sketching too. The mark up button only allows me to draw dots and if I try and click and drag, nothing happens. How do you do this? I don't find the instructions for this programme very accessible or user friendly at all Thanks
