I opened autocad drawing in my ipad pro and I can't get the location right so that the map and I are at the same place. I have assingt the drawings coordinatesystem right at the autocad civil 3d. How do I get the drawing so that where I stand is right with the picture in my ipad?

Are you referring to the GPS feature?

On the mobile app you can use the GPS support to locate yourself on the drawing, as you move around, you can add contextually relevant comments at precise geographic locations
If your drawing already contains location data (whether by the Geo Marker object or by using the “Set Location” feature), you can use My Location to track yourself on top of the drawing.

The accuracy of the AutoCAD 360 GPS function is dependent on the accuracy of your device. You may have to enable the GPS function in order to get accurate information.

Please note that the GPS component in each device works in meters (international standard), so if the units in your drawings are Inches for example, it might cause a little change in scale...

We are aware of some issues currently occurring with our GPS feature, and we're working constantly on improving the GPS capabilities and accuracy all the time.

So is there a way to open a drawing and have a indicator display that shows you your location based on the coordinate system(is it necessary to have the drawing be in Lat and Long coordinates for your location to show up); I would like for it to work like a map application where you open the drawing and a blue dot blinks showing you your location. Is this possible? Thanks
