AutoCAD 360 Mobile and DWF Format

Is the DWF format supported in AutoCAD 360 (mobile)? I was not able to upload DWF files into the file store. I couldn't find any documentation online and would appreciate some feed-back.

DWF files are not supported.

AutoCAD 360 supports uploading the following file types:

•    DWG
•    DXF
•    PDF
•    ZIP
•    PNG
•    CTB
•    GIF
•    JPG
•    BMP

Hell Tirza, thanks for the speedy reply. That's bad news. We were planning to use the DWF files for data validation in the field (on a GPS supported device). A360 might be an option supporting the DWF format but app doesn't seem to have the geo-location functionality in order to overlay the surveyor's position. The search continues. Regards, Heiko

The mobile app you want is called A360 (not AutoCAD360): the A360 app icon on my mobile device looks like a blue swirl (not a big red A).

I know, confusing naming convention, so much so even the Autodesk staffers can't remember.

Hello Dean, ...I'm the GIS guy in the team - trying to get to grips with the "design oriented" data formats. I have tried A360. It's quick, my colleagues caneasily annotate the drawings - but unfortunately it doesn't support the GPS location services (so field workers can identify their own location within the designs). If A360 had that feature (currently available in AutoCAD360), it would be perfect. Maybe we can get the Design Review software working on our field kit (supports DWF files and GPS positioning). My wish list for Autodesk: - A360 with - GPS support I wonder why an Android version for mobile devices has been released without GPS support (seems intuitive to include such a feature...., even for a simple "reader" application).
