Accessing mobile drawings online

I’ve had the mobile app for a few years now on my iPad and phone. I tried to access my drawings online or through my desktop and no success. So after paying 3 years why am I not able to receive support or access my drawings online?

Hello Nick @Anonymous

Welcome to the AutoCAD Mobile Forum.

You mentioned

Based on these information I can only suggest. Can you please send more information? E.g.

  1. Where are/were your files stored?
  2. Do you still see your drawings, but you are not able to open them?
  3. It sounds like you tried to connect to your drawings via AutoCAD Desktop, AutoCAD Mobile App and AutoCAD Web App - is that correct?
  4. Do you get an error message?

Best regards,

Thomas

Hi Nick @Anonymous

Is the issue still there on your side? If so, I would need more details of the situation.

Have you already had the opportunity to continue working on this topic? If you have found your own solution, it would be very helpful for future users if you would publish it here in the forum as a new post on the topic.

Best regards,

Thomas

I’ve spoken with customer support finally and it was brought to their attention that while you can purchase the mobile apps through Apple, Apple holds the license. So to my best understanding, one would have to buy their own license through autodesk to have full usage of the app on mobile and the desktop version. So having just the apps doesn’t give you the option of using autodesk on the desktop unless you have purchased or hold a license.
