I just got the update today, and after installing it, I can't find the way to plot the dwg file to pdf. I like to mail it to my customers, or to myself and print it. Can anyone help me how to do so? With the former version, I could plot it to PDF and mail it so I could print it. If I can't print the files, Autodesk isn't usefull for me as I make my drawings on it and send it to my customers.
I would be really dissapointed if this was left out, as I just renewed my subscription for a year.
Too bad the ´arrows´ are gone too, I use to use them a lot to put measurements on my drawings. But i van adapt to not using those any more. Maybe I haven't found it up till now.
Hello @Anonymous
Welcome to the AutoCAD mobile forum.
I understand your situation and that it is frustrating for you. Let me add some information to the post above:
The topic came up in the past also in the following two posts: "Plot to PDF" & "iPad Pro can not export and share as a pdf". I will add the core information for you below:
I am happy to provide three alternative steps that might work for you:
1. Plot to PDF via AutoCAD web app
Check if you have access to the AutoCAD web app (web.autocad.com), upload the file there and plot it to PDF as shown in the screenshot below.
The app also has a share functionality if needed.
2. Forwarding the DWG itself
Please check if forwarding the drawing itself instead of the PDF might be an option for you. To to this, please follow the steps below
a) Select the following icon to forward the drawing
b) Choose an application to forward the file
3. Forwarding access to the file
To forward access to the file, download the DWG file to your pc and upload it to the Autodesk Viewer (viewer.autodesk.com). Once the file is uploaded you can copy the link to the file and share it with other colleagues or companies.
Did the post helped you and answered your question even though it does not provide a solution for your situation? If yes, feel free to click on the button "Mark as Solution".
