Piping and Instrumentation Diagram (P&ID)

Hi all,

Our company has the license for AutoCAD MEP 2024. I am trying to generate Piping and Instrumentation Diagram (P&ID) and I realized that there is another version of AutoCAD (Plant 3D) that is specifically for P&ID for which my company do not have a license.

Could you please advise me if the AutoCAD MEP is friendly for generating P&ID and let me know if there is a good tutorial video for learning that.

Nope, you need to use Plant3D for PI&D, BUT... it is free for active autocad subscribers to install and use (as are the entire line of AutoCAD variants except LT). Help yourself, or ask your IT/CAD Manager/Boss to give you access to download that from your Accounts Page here
