The MOVEBAK command does not keep the new path.
"Example:
Command: MOVEBAK
Initializing...
MOVEBAK command loaded.New value for MOVEBAK, or . for none <C:\AutoCAD MEP\BAK>: C:\BAK
Command:"
So now the backup location has been changed to C:\BAK. The issue is this. Once you close AutoCAD and reopen, AutoCAD loses the path in that it stops moving the *.bak files to where you told it to save. So when you type MOVEBAK again, it looks like this.
"Example:
Command: MOVEBAK
Initializing...
MOVEBAK command loaded.New value for MOVEBAK, or . for none <C:\BAK>: "
So it still shows your new location, but it is not saving it there anymore. So you need to do this every time you open AutoCAD.
"Example:
Command: MOVEBAK
Initializing...
MOVEBAK command loaded.New value for MOVEBAK, or . for none <C:\BAK>: C:\BAK
Command:"
It's very annoying. So AUTODESK, please fix this ASAP!!!!
Thanks!
