Tod,

Which tutorial are you looking for specifically?

I may be looking at an old tutorial.

I'm needing a good online MEP tutorial for students with videos and practice exercises to go along with it.

Thank you

To be honest, there aren't many videos for AutoCAD MEP. If you search youtube, most of the content you'll find is well over 5 years old. Revit has dominated the space for a while and most companies use that.

You can search Autodesk University and there are some lectures in video format with supplemental material.

If you are looking for something more specific, feel free to message me. I may be able to help.

Thank you Michael,
I've encountered the same thing with tutorials. Specifically I'm looking
for MEP filter applications tutorials with practice examples.

I'm not entirely sure what you mean by MEP filter applications.

If you can clarify, I may be able to help.

Sorry, I live in a world of acronyms. Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing applications and codes

You'll have to perform websearches to find what you need, if they exist to meet your needs, and I would be surprised if there are "file downloads" today in the year 2024 from anything other than for-pay sites and classes

https://www.google.com/search?q=AutocAD+MEP+mechanical+design+tutorial

https://www.google.com/search?q=AutoCAD+MEP+electrical+design+tutorial
https://www.google.com/search?q=AutoCAD+MEP+plumbing+design+tutorial

Try Autodesk University for handouts, but they are likely to be very sub-topic specific (MECH is vague, ducting is specific for example).

You can use the AutoCAD MEP Help (press F1) to search the user guide on how to use different MEP systems.

In my experience the user guide isn't very clear.

For codes, you can access the international codes here: https://codes.iccsafe.org/codes/i-codes/2024-icodes.

They have free version of the international plumbing/mechanical/gas codes. You'll need to access NFPA 70 on the NFPA website for electrical.

If you're looking for a more step-by-step approach on how to design MEPF systems, you'll need to make videos yourself or pay for that service if you can find it online.

I have experience with plumbing, fire & electrical systems. Depending on what you're looking for, I may be able create these videos. Send me a private message and we can discus.
