Nearly six months later... Just had to reinstall AutoCAD and accidently installed the 2025 version.

And... It's still not fixed.

AutoCAD MEP 2025 update 0.2 has just come out and this issue has not been fixed. This is almost a year later!

Can anyone tell me if this has been fixed in the 2026 version?

Hi @tony_csogroup ,

Thanks for your follow-up on this thread issue. That is rather peculiar as this should be working as of MEP 2026.

I have went to take a look on my end and the part does look to be functioning as expected. Here is a screencast and photo of what it looks at my end.

Would you be able to help answer a few questions:

  • Could you showcase what you are seeing on your end?
  • What MEP 2026 profile are you running?

Best regards,

Yanhan

Hi @yanhan.lim

It seems to have been resolved in the 'Global' profile, but not the 'UK' profile. I have raised a ticket and it has been confirmed as such.

I'm now hoping that the fix will be in the first MEP 2026 update.

Hi @tony_csogroup

The shape of the DW144 Rectangular Duct Square Elbow Flanged_UKM part looks different in UK profile as compared to Global.  This snapshot is from MEP 2024 UK profile. Please see image below.

Do you expect to see same shape in MEP 2026 in UK profile as in the attached image or both UK and global profile should match?

Please let us know.

Best Regards,

No thank you. Support confirmed the bug had not been fixed in the UK profile and should be fixed in a future patch.

The bug is not present in the 2024 version. I first noticed it in the 2025 version, but it was only fixed in the global profile and not the UK profile. The 2026 version inherited the bug.

Support have confirmed this to be so and have promised it would be corrected in a future patch.

The shape of this part in the UK profile in the 2025 and 2026 versions do not look like this. It looks like this, which is not correct.
