LAYERS IN VIEW PORT NOT SHOWING

IN MY MODEL SPACE THE LAYERS ARE SHOWING BUT WHEN I GO TO LAYOUT ITS NOT SHOWING THE LAYERS ARE ON NOT LOCKED OR FROZEN AND IT WAS SHOWING THE LAST TIME I WORKED ON THIS PROJECT PLEASE HELP ME IT URGENT

or it might be that the scale in the model space is not the same as the viewport scale
