How to prevent triangulation lines from populating in MEP section cuts

I am running AutoCAD MEP 2021.  I created a solid model of an existing concrete structure and the structure has many complex shapes as it was designed as a hydro generation facility.  I modeled all of the structure's features via commands such as extrude, subtract, loft, union, to develop the overall geometry as solids.  When cutting section views of the solid model in MEP, the resulting geometry displayed in the section cut is populated with triangulation lines (particularly where model entities are beyond the section cut location).  I can edit the linework out, but it is overly time consuming.  The triangulation lines are worse where the geometry is more complex, resulting in thousands of little segments of triangulation lines that need to be manually edited out.  Is there a solution that exists that resolves this issue?  I've uploaded an example image that shows: One screenshot of the 3D model as a solid.  One screenshot of the MEP section cut. One screenshot of the same section cut location but taken with the sectionplane command (which is what I wish to have the MEP section look like as an output). Your help with this is really appreciated! Thanks.

Update (2-3-22): After digging in more I was able to find a post from 2005 asking about the similar issue, looks like the post had zero replies:

So, I guess the trick is to not use solids.  Use mass elements instead and this seems to remove the issue of triangulation lines.
