Giant Flanges, errors when adding concentric reducers, twisted pipes

Hey there everyone,

 

I think the problem is self explanatory, you can check it out in the images.

 

How can I please correct this?

 

I have this problem with the boilers, the vertical storage tanks I added, the pumps: basically everywhere.

 

Any ideas what went wrong and where?

As for drawing pipes in vertical directions -

While drawing you get the menu in the command line. Try playing with Compass and Plane.
Additionally you can just change the view to side view and change the UCS to UCS View and then draw vertically.

It sadly didn't work. I tried so many things without success.

I recently changed the computer in order to see if  the loptop I worked on so far had to do with my previous giant flange problems.

 

To my surprise, the computer had nothing to do with that and it's probably something in the settings or in the routing parameters.

 

As you can see in the pictures, the pipes take all sorts of weird shapes.

 

I would be grateful for any hint or help.

I started recently drawing my second project on MEP, but  I was surprised to encounter all sorts of problems pertaining to the shapes of the created pipes (for example a simple pipe that connects two other parallel pipes I get between 17 and 39 alternatives which look all physically wrong, other than that, after creating those pipes I can't move a pipe without having the whole system being moved too), the size of the flanges (huge) and even the endless crossed pipes after I'm prompted to choose an elbow. (see pictures)

Could you please help me out, as I am stuck because of this since three weeks now, and my project isn't going anywhere.

 

Any hint would be appreciated

Hi everyone,

 

has someone of you ever encountered a problem where the flanges were tens/hundreds of times bigger than they should be?
I'm tryin to connect a DN150 Duct with a DN40 Pump inlet. I get a flange that has a diameter of 220m, which is still shown as a 0.15 Flange.

 

At the properties palette its diameter is 0.

This is really confusing.
