Dimensions on different Z axis

I have a 3d drawing and I have som dimensions that when I look at from the side they are not all on the Z=0'-0" some are at what seems to be random heights. I woud like to make the all on the 0' Z axis. I have tried flatten command and that does not work. I can not post the drawing because it is a work drawing. Any sugestions woudl be great. I will post My findings as I get suggested solutions. I'm useing AutoCAD MEP full version.

I did add a screen shot of the left view of the drawing. The purple is elevation 0', the items below are dimensions and the green to the top is dimensions.

At this point, I'm not sure, short of manually moving the dimensions. In the future, to prevent this from happening, set the OSNAPZ system variable to 1 and your UCS to world to have AutoCAD place the dimensions at a Z coordinate of zero. This also places the dimension "definition points" at a Z coordinate of zero.

That sucks, but looks like if that is what has to be done I will make sure in the future I will check My osnapz.

Thank you.

Try the attached autolisp file (Z0.lsp). I found this in an old forum post (flatten everything to Z=0 plane) and didn't think it would work on the dimension defpoints, however, it does!
