see attached can someone tell me why this is happening does it have to do with what these pics are showing and how do I change it

You're Navigation Cube appears that it is viewing from the bottom, if you change the view to Top, does it help the dimensions? This AKN article shows you all the ways you can navigate the Nav Cube.

If you change the UCS to World and then select the Top view does that help? If you have a custom UCS, save that before changing.
